Zoie Noelle is a storyteller who shares her thoughts through colorful multi-stylistic portraits that capture the strength of a youthful 17 year old Black women. Her upcoming solo exhibition, "Feelings & Emotions," will feature more than 15 images and self-portraits, poetry and video all brought to life with contrasting and harmonious colors and bold compositions. Her creative portraits engage the viewer and take them on a visual journey.

24 x 36. This was the first painting in this collection. It started as a self portrait to reflect the feelings that I was experiencing after the murder of George Floyd.

CHRYSANTHEMUM DARLIN’

(15 X 16.5) – Although the Daisy is the flower depicted, the title relates back to the children’s book by Kevin Henkes. The story’s motifs are of self-acceptance and confidence through adversity. She becomes bold and confident and learns to speak her truth.

KAIROSCLEROSIS

(14 X 17) -The uneasiness felt when you’re currently happy; consciously trying to savor it. But realizing you’re already analyzing, identifying and picking the feeling apart.
